THE RESULTS
Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who helped, participated and supported our first round of the Wednesfield Aces Youth and Junior League. To Chris for helping set up getting the track into tiptop shape and cutting the grass, refereeing, to Nanny Jan for supplying the goods in the form of cupcakes, to Nat and Harry working the wonders in the starting hut, Freya for being the most glamour assistant, to Kelly, Megan and Louise for running of the kitchen and their organisational skills. To Martin and Steve for helping to control all the excitement of the kids in the pits and setting them up on the grids. Then of course to all you parents and supporters of the club.
After a great nights racing by all riders who should all be very proud of yourselves! So now the full results:
Category 1 the tiny two's:
Finley: 20 Points - 1st
Bobby: 15 Points - 2nd
Category 2:
Travis: 16 Points (+1) - 1st
Jacob: 16 Points - 2nd
Ewan: 13 Points - 3rd
Category 3:
James: 19 Points - 1st
Amber: 14 Points - 2nd
Thomas: 9 Points - 3rd
Serena: 8 Points - 4th
Category 4:
Kira: 15 Points - 1st
Robyn: 13 Points - 2nd
Kyle: 12 Points - 3rd
Elijah: 10 Points - 4th
Category 5 all owe one extra race next round due to the crash during their first race between Brandon and Corey we hope both riders are okay!
Corey: 15 Points - 1st
Brandon: 12 Points - 2nd
Kylan: 7 Points - 3rd
Also after the first round it is the DRAGONS that have came out on top with 115 points with the Aces close behind on 99 points after the first round. The next round will be 29th June. Thanks to all the feedback today we are glad you all enjoyed it and we shall see you all next week and for those of you that are on holiday during the half term enjoy! All riders you should all be very proud of yourselves the improvement and enthusiasm that was seen tonight was incredible entertaining us all with some of the best racing yet I'm sure we all look forward to the remaining rounds!
