Yesterday was the final round of the spring cup between Wednesfield, Eastpark and Birmingham. Wednesfield A came out on top with 74 points, Birmingham on 68, Wednesfield B on 53 and Eastpark on 39. Wednesfield A win the cup overall in what has been a hard fought cup.

Yesterday exhibitors in action at Leicester Cyclespeedway club in round one of the British youth and junior. With the Burts and Rowleys away the representation was down riders for the middle age groups, but the other groups were represented at under 8, under 10 and junior. At under 8s Ewan made the A final and got 4th after a great race and a solid performance throughout. At under 10s Charlotte, Joseph and Peter. Joseph was in the C final which he won. Both Charlotte and Peter made the B final with Peter winning and Charlotte coming 3rd. Again all the riders put in solid performances, and all had happy faces at the end.

In the junior competition which had 14 riders there was Adam, Brandon and Josh. Adam won the C final, Brandon won the A final. Whilst Josh had to retire injured after a nasty fall in his first race where he damaged his shoulder. we wish him a speedy recovery. round 2 will be at Wednesfield on the 22nd April. there will be lots of jobs that require doing so any assistance  that can be offered let Roger or Wayne know asap.

on Tuesday night on a bright but chilly evening the youngsters turned out to training with Wayne,Steve and Tom. As can be seen they all had a great time with some great effort being put in by the riders.
