REFS COURSE AND TRACK DAY

Wednesfield were hosts to the British Cycling Referee’s course today (2/2/20) so congratulations to all who completed the course as the Midlands now successfully have 8 new referees across 4/5 of the Midlands clubs.
Also today volunteers from our club cleared out containers, continued to put our new shelter together and cleaned around 40 bikes!
So a huge thank you to everyone who helped out it is very much appreciated.
Another well done goes to Steve and Jordan who are now qualified referees for the club.

2020 season key information....

The start of the season is within touching distance now so after our AGM here are some of the changes that are going to be made for this season:

Tuesday kids subs will now be £2.00 + 50p for use of a club bike.
We are currently asking that any parents involved within the Tuesday club to become our Parent Liaisons Officer to relay any feedback or improvements that could be made to our kids training club.
Wednesfield Aces Club Championships will be having a make over this year with a brand new format. Instead it just being one night at the end of the season we are turning our club championships into a league which will take place once a month and you must battle with your fellow track mates in order to score points which will accumulate over the season until October when we will find out who the top 3 Aces riders in each category. All Tuesday clubbers should see Georgia within the first few weeks of training with their names and ages to place you in the respective categories.
Also a reminder if Santa brought up a new set of helmet and gloves don't forget to bring them with you! As this will help to save time meaning more time on the track!
