Megan Burt raced in the under 12s category and again was a finalist earning the club valuable points, Megan finished 13th in the country after the last National round, well done Megan.
Georgia Burt raced into the B final and considering the class of the senior riders this has been an excellent season for Georgia who finished 6th in the country after the last National round , well done Georgia.
In the Under 17s Brandon Whetton and Carl Parfitt made the journey to East Anglia knowing there was a championship title to be won for one of them . Carl was in the best form of his cycle speedway career so far and was pushing Brandon for the top spot , in the end Brandon won the A final and claiming his fourth successive BYJL title in a row , after already winning the European and British junior titles earlier in the season and can be without doubt named as the best British Youth and junior rider of his generation, Well done Brandon.
Carl Parfitt finished second place in the final and runner up to Brandon in the country overall. It’s been a fantastic season for Carl who along with being named captain of Wales and finishing in the top five in Britain and Europe. Well done Carl.
Well done to all our the young foxes cycle speedway riders who have raced both regional and national rounds earning the Wednesfield Foxes the runners up spot at the National level and the Midlands champions at regional level.
