Leicester came to visit today in this midlands league match.
in the division 3 match our youngsters gave a good account of themselves but lost to a strong Leicester side 29-51.This was followed by the div one match, Wednesfield put out a very strong team that was too much for the visitors winning 106-73. the closest match of the afternoon was the div 2 match. both teams field good riders and the match went one way then another finally being decided in the last race with Wednesfield coming out on top 68-62 winners.
the sunshine was glorious and non cyclespeedway people who were passing stopped to watch what was a very entertaining match. well done to all the riders. rematch next week at Leicester.
