Yesterday we held a very successful Dash Trophies Grand Prix Junior and Open event organised and sponsored by Steven Mullinder.
We had two full line ups of 16 riders and some great entertaining racing.
The weather too was on side with the rain holding off and some spells of warming sunshine.
Charlie Parr won the junior event after a run off with JJ Wildman who had both finished there racing on a respectable 18 points each.
Third place was decided with yet another run off between Shaun Kell and Leon Penketh with Leon taking the position.
Home rider Corey Burt finished in joint 5th on a superb 15 points.
The Open line up contained a variety of riders vets, British Champions, International riders and a couple of Juniors the meeting went very smoothly and eventual winner was Josh Brooke who finished on a maximum, Will Jeffrey in 2nd and Paul Heard 3rd.

The Vets, Women and U14’s Dash will be run on Satutday 22nd April with Wednesfield then hosting the first round of the Women’s League on Sunday 23rd.
