This week’s fixture saw Wednesfield Aces take on Coventry in Leicester. The day began with great teamwork, as everyone pitched in to ensure both the riders and their bikes made it to the venue. Special thanks go to Georgia Burt, who stepped in after a last minute call and transported bikes to the track.
The Wednesfield line-up featured Captain Chris Jewkes, Lee Aris, Scott Doherty, Georgia Burt, Nat Ward, Nyla Aris, and Jacob Jewkes. The Aces got off to a flying start, securing two maximum heat wins followed by a 6-4, giving them a 10-point lead after just three heats.
Coventry fought back with determination and kept the pressure on, but Wednesfield held firm with a strong all-round team performance. The consistency and spirit shown by the Aces throughout the match ensured they maintained their lead until the end.
A special mention goes to Scott Doherty, who delivered a superb performance, scoring a maximum 22 points plus 2 bonus from his six rides.
