Saturday we hosted the first National BYJL of the season and although numbers overall were low Wednesfield had an incredible 12 rider representatives across all the age categories for many was their first national racing event and they did not disappoint!
Under 8's we had 6 riders:
Ellis D rode his way to the A final where he finished 2nd overall that day, smashed it Ellis well done!
Also making his mark on the home track Arlo scored an incredible 13 points including 2 race wins to finish 4th on the day!
George A scored a cracking 8points which fought his way into the B final where he finished 4th, well done George!
Our Tuesday rider of the week for her amazing confidence and cracking passes, Jorja scored 8 points in her heats and went onto win the C final!
Brother Hunter also saw his race skills end up in the C final after never giving up in his races. Hunter finished 2nd in the C final.
George C managed to race his way to a race win to get his total to 8pts and bagged a 3rd in the C final.

Under 10's:
Both our under 10's had an impressive race day Lucas scoring 9 points secured his spot in the B final where he finished 4th from the gate four! Team mate Jenson also had a good days racing including a race win to score 10 points and finished 3rd in the B final. Smashed it guys well done to you both!
Under 12's:
We had lone ace Jacob Jewkes take to the track with his improving confidence saw him score 8points in his qualifying races then went onto win the B final!
Our under 14's representatives were showing the lads how its done against the lads with Sophie going out and scoring an incredible 7pts and take the top spot in the D final. Nyla's first day of racing the weekend saw her secure 8pts and a respectable 3rd place in the C final.
Lastly was the big kids category which saw the U16,18 and girls combined into one due to lack of numbers. Corey in the Under 18's category scored 13 points from his heats and finished 2nd overall behind fellow GB teammate Oliver Saunders from the Poole club.
