Our aces riders all had great success in today’s Day One Events!
First up Corey Burt only dropped 2 points (one being a tape movement deduction) to finish in an impressive second place over all in his Open Quarter Final firmly securing his spot in tomorrow’s Open Semi Finals.
Next up Jacob Jewkes left it till the last second to qualify for the Under 16’s Boys Final but made it after a fast battle in the last race of the repechage. The U16’s Final concluded a very wet race day where Jacob scored a hard earned 7 points! Great work Jacob!!
In between the Under 16’s boys events the Under 16’s girls final took place which Nyla represented the aces in. Nyla continued to show her fantastic improvement on her home shale. She went onto score an incredible 14 points with a couple of hard earned race wins! Well done Nyla you’ve absolutely smashed it today superstar!!
Tomorrow sees Corey in the Open Semi Finals,
Georgia and Nyla in the women’s pre-qualifier hoping to secure their spots in the women’s final on Monday.
