Finally, the day is done! It’s been a very long, warm day of racing, thank you to East Newport Cycle Speedway Club for hosting!
In the vets final where pairing Lee and Chris took back to the track after successfully qualifying earlier in the day. A close contested match played out resulting in the paring bringing home the bronze finishing behind Leicester and Horspath who took the gold. Shows a consistent repeat performance after claiming the bronze last year down in Ipswich!
To round up the weekend it was time for the final but the aces being man down meant Georgia having to step up into the main team. The match got off to a great start with both Lee and Corey taking the win from their gate ones but was then a much tougher match throughout the rest of the programme with a few unfortunate slips too it wasn’t without trying that the aces took the fourth place in the final.
